On 29 and 30 September 2023, the eG Wohnen Juniorstrophy took place for the 36th time in Cottbus. Like last year, the setting was somewhat smaller than in pre-Corona times. From 8 different nations (Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary) 76 gymnasts in 3 age groups competed for victory in the all-around and on the individual apparatus. In addition, a team winner was also determined.

Under the direction of the new tournament director Karsten Oelsch, the tournament took place in the usual professional and familiar setting. However, there were some changes compared to the previous tournaments.
After the 3 age groups competed for the all-around title as usual on the first day of the competition, there was a new competition on the second day with the "Quick Team Challenge", in which 6 national teams and (out of competition) 5 mixed teams competed against each other with one gymnast per apparatus. Here, Team British Gymnastics won ahead of Team Germany and Team SC Cottbus I.

The "Quick Team Challenge" was followed by the apparatus finals, and in the evening the teams (at least those who had not yet left) met at the hotel for the closing party.
