Roma Junior Diving Cup 2024

Summer in Rome. The competitions of the 7th Roma Junior Diving Cup (14th Trofeo Niccolò Campo) took place from 23 to 26 July at temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and above.

This year's speciality: the participants included a very large delegation from the USA, comprising a total of 32 divers (8 Girls A, 9 Boys A, 5 Girls B, 3 Boys B, 3 Girls C and 4 Boys C). These divers had qualified for the US team at the AAU Red, White, and Blue National Championships in Midland, Texas in May 2024.

In addition to Italy and the USA, the 115 participants came from Great Britain, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway and Monaco.

For the first time, there were also competitions in the D age group (Girls D and Boys D), with participants from Italy, Bulgaria and Monaco.

Due to the expansion to 4 age groups, a total of 26 competitions took place over 3 days. As a result, the competitions lasted into the evening each day.

As we have done for over 10 years, we were once again invited to this wonderful event and accompanied it with our photography. This time we sorted the photos by age group, partly because of the large number of participants from the USA, as sorting by nation would have been somewhat confusing there.
