We need your support
We have already hinted at this recently: Unfortunately, we are currently in a difficult situation.
For years, we have been reliably delivering photos from numerous events in an exceptionally high quality that is rarely found elsewhere. We usually work seven days a week and hardly ever take any time off. Since our events are mainly concentrated in the summer and late autumn, there are often delays in sorting and processing. This is due to the fact that many events take place in quick succession. We could upload the photos unedited, but this would significantly reduce the photo quality.
Nevertheless, we regularly offer to deliver (individual) important photos immediately if necessary. Some of you may have noticed that we upload some photos from the Deutsche Turnliga directly from the ongoing competition to Instagram, for example, or make them available to clubs and athletes after just a few days.
Photos from major events take longer. We don't just edit photos of a single person from these events, but of 150, 200 or 300 athletes.
We do a lot – and usually receive very little in return. We are now somewhat at a loss, because we have been delivering consistently good work for over 15 years, but we simply don't earn enough to even begin to make a living from it.
But that's not what this is about.
Our current situation:
In December, something happened that we had expected, but always hoped would not happen. Our company car (we don't have a private vehicle) had to go in for its TÜV, and we had to invest over €1,600 in temporary repairs just to get the sticker. It became apparent that there were various other faults with the vehicle that could not be easily repaired due to a lack of available spare parts. Alternatively, we would have to invest so much money in replacing it that it would simply no longer be worthwhile. The vehicle is already a "senior" at 26 years old.
We urgently need to replace the vehicle, otherwise we will no longer be able to travel to events in future. We already have several used replacement vehicles in mind. Unfortunately, we are still about 2,500 Euro short of an adequate replacement, which would still require partial financing. Given our financial situation, this is already difficult. It may not sound like a large sum, but for us small business owners, it is a significant amount of money.
Without a vehicle, we would have to cancel numerous events, which would make the situation even worse. The next events start in March, and then we will need reliable transport again.
We were forced to use car sharing, hire cars, etc. last year because there were already problems with the vehicle. However, this is simply far too expensive in the long run, especially over long distances, and our reserves are simply melting away.
If you want to help us, what can you do?
Several hundred thousand photos are available in our photo databases. Orders would be a HUGE help to us.
We also offer photo shoots.
Either in small groups within your club or as individual shoots with your young talents. We have a mobile photo studio, various backgrounds, powerful flashes and professional photographic equipment. But even without flashes and backgrounds, e.g. on the football pitch, we can take photos with you that look cool and will be a great memory in 10 or 20 years' time!
UPDATE from 22 February 2026 / 4:45 p.m.
Thanks to some long-standing customers and their generosity, we were able to achieve our goal and will soon be purchasing a used vehicle. We are very grateful. After 26 years, the old Seat can now enjoy its well-deserved retirement. We are looking forward to the upcoming events and would also be delighted to receive a few orders here and there.
